About Us

Wilderness Corps is a non-profit organization (501(c)3) founded in 2013 with a mission permanently maintain, protect and preserve access to and access through Wilderness Areas, and secondly maintain the access roads and Off-Highway Vehicle Trails used to access Wilderness Trailheads. 

Our Service Areas:

Los Padres National Forest – Mount Pinos Ranger District (Sespe Wilderness)

Sierra National Forest – High Sierra Ranger District (Dinkey Lakes Wilderness, John Muir Wilderness, Ansel Adams Wilderness)

Wilderness Permits

Wilderness Permits are required to overnight in the Dinkey Lakes Wilderness, Kaiser Wilderness, John Muir Wilderness and Ansel Adams. Please get a permit. Bear cans are required in the Sierra National Forest.
